In April, over 120 alumnae who graduated in the ’60s and ’70s gathered for their annual Spring Luncheon at the Ormond Plantation! These amazing ladies donated $500 from their 50/50 raffle earnings to Archbishop Chapelle High School. This event was such a success, and we appreciate each and every one of them for staying #LoyalToGreenAndWhite
Alyssa Quinn Escalante '13 is a New Orleans-based realtor with a passion for helping people find their dream home! Alyssa is an agent at Mirambell Realty and was recently named a Top 5 Producer for March 2024! In 2022, Alyssa was named Rookie of the Year, and she was also awarded the Top Agent in her brokerage. She then went on to be recognized as a "Rising Star" from the New Orleans Metropolitan of Realtors in 2023. Most recently, Alyssa graced the cover of Inside New Orleans Magazine’s ‘Women in Business’ edition for April 2024! Congratulations, Alyssa!
On April 11, our school celebrated Founder's Day and honored many incredible members of our Chapelle family for exemplifying what it means to be #LoyalToGreenAndWhite and loyal to their Catholic faith! We honored our five Outstanding Catholic Students of the Year, our two Student of the Year recipients, and our faculty members who are celebrating milestone years. In addition, the ladies of the Class of 1974 were honored for celebrating 50 years since they graduated Archbishop Chapelle High School! We also took this opportunity to recognize our Deus Providebit Award recipients, Bruce & Michelle Lambert, and our Alumna of the Year, Gina Schiro Woolley Bankson '88, in front of the student body. It was a fun-filled day that is definitely a highlight of our school year each and every time. Congratulations to all who were honored this year! Alumnae Moms of the Class of 2029 gathered in our Joan of Arc Center for coffee and pastries! This was an opportunity for everyone to meet each other and make connections with other moms whose daughters will be with us in the Fall. Yesterday morning, our Class of 2024 Seniors were surprised with an Invitation Ceremony for their Alumnae Induction Luncheon in May. Members of our Alumnae Board, including our Alumna of the Year, Gina Schiro Woolley '88, presented the seniors with this long-awaited invitation, and they called each senior up by name to receive them! Mrs. Judy Golemi Spadafora ‘66 held a quick refresh course on table etiquette, and the girls embraced the information as they gear up for their last few weeks as Chapelle students. Chelsea Marie Jackson '14 is a distinguished alumna of Chapelle and Nicholls State University. After graduating from Chapelle in 2014, Chelsea went on to earn her BA in Mass Communication in 2018 followed by a Master of Education in 2021 from Nicholls State University. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Greek Life at Nicholls, Chelsea excels in fostering a vibrant Greek community. Her impressive accolades include being a Founding Mother of the Eta Upsilon Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, receiving the prestigious Helen M. Dodge Award, earning the Mel Berry Theater Award, being named the 2018 Outstanding Mass Communication Graduate, and crowned as Ms. Nicholls in 2018.
