Alumnae Spotlight: Lisa Knecht Cardinale ’08 🏐💚 Archbishop Chapelle High School is proud to celebrate Lisa Knecht Cardinale ’08, Head Volleyball Coach at St. Scholastica, who was recently named Division II Coach of the Year by the Louisiana Volleyball Coaches Association — an honor voted on by her fellow coaches. “Winning a coach award when it is voted on by coaches definitely means something,” Lisa shared. “I am truly honored by this award. The volleyball community in Louisiana is truly something special.” She also shared that one of her favorite parts of the evening was honoring the many talented players and coaches in attendance — and receiving her award from one of her favorite coaches, Jodee Pulizzano, Chapelle’s Head Volleyball Coach. Lisa’s dedication, leadership, and passion for the game continue to make an impact on her athletes and throughout the volleyball community. We are so proud to see a Chipmunk leading with excellence and heart. Congratulations, Lisa! Your Chapelle family is cheering you on always.

Alumna Spotlight: Susan Chocheles Panzavecchia ’90 For Susan Chocheles Panzavecchia ’90, Chapelle is more than a workplace...it’s home. Since returning to campus in August 2016, Susan has served in several important leadership roles. She began in Advancement as Special Events Director before moving to the academic side in 2017 as Assistant Principal. In 2020, she stepped into her current role as Associate Head of School, where she oversees the academic program, the Dean of Academics, the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and student activities. While her responsibilities are extensive, Susan says the heart of her work is simple: the students. “We have the most amazing students,” she shares. Her mission each day is to instill a strong work ethic, drive, and a clear path to success for every young woman who walks the halls of Chapelle. Just as importantly, she wants every student to feel loved, seen, and supported. To her, Chapelle is truly a family, and she is deeply invested not only in her students’ success while they are here, but in the bright futures that await them beyond graduation. Susan also wants fellow alumnae to know that Chapelle continues to provide what it always has at its best: academic excellence within a nurturing, faith-filled environment. With a rigorous and engaging curriculum designed to prepare students for college and their careers, she is proud to be part of the resurgence and momentum the school is experiencing. As a proud member of the Class of 1990, Susan embodies the enduring spirit of Chapelle — leadership rooted in faith, dedication to excellence, and a genuine love for the sisterhood that makes this community so special. The future is bright for our Chipmunks, and Mrs. Panzavecchia is helping lead the way.

Alumna Spotlight: Tiffany Willis Donovan ’10 We are proud to shine this week’s Alumna Spotlight on Tiffany Willis Donovan ’10, who is making an impact both on and off the sidelines at Tulane University. For the past five years, Tiffany has served as a coach for the Tulane University Cheer Team, mentoring and guiding collegiate athletes through some of the most formative years of their lives. Tiffany shares that what she loves most about coaching is helping her athletes grow — not only in their skills and performance, but as confident, capable young adults. Watching them develop their talent, build resilience, and step into leadership roles is what makes the experience so meaningful. Being part of such an important chapter in their lives, both on and off the mat, is something Tiffany does not take lightly. Her dedication reflects the same spirit of encouragement, leadership, and sisterhood that began during her time at Chapelle. We are so proud of the positive example Tiffany continues to set and the lives she is helping shape through her passion and mentorship.

Inaugural Emerald Society Induction Ceremony On March 6, 2026, we had the profound honor of inducting the Class of 1966 — our Charter Class — into the Emerald Society, as they celebrate 60 years since graduating from Archbishop Chapelle High School. As the very first graduating class, these women built the foundation of our traditions, spirit, and sisterhood. They chose our mascot, helped write our alma mater, and built the spirit and sisterhood that define Chapelle to this day. Above all, they believed in Chapelle before it had a history — and because of them, we have one. This is the first year of the Emerald Society, and honoring these women is a beautiful way to start this new tradition for our school. Their legacy is our legacy. Deus Providebit, God Will Provide.

She has inspired those around her by standing firm in her faith, showing kindness, and allowing the joy of being Catholic to shine through in all she does. We are incredibly proud of Elizabeth for this well-deserved recognition. She is a shining example of the values we hold dear at Chapelle — faith, leadership, integrity, and service. Eucharistic Ministers Attend the Annual Chrism Mass Today, our Chapelle Eucharistic Ministers had the incredible blessing of attending the Annual Chrism Mass at St. Louis Cathedral, celebrated by Archbishop James Checcio. During this beautiful and sacred liturgy, the holy oils that will be used throughout the Archdiocese in the coming year were blessed, and priests renewed their ordination promises, a powerful reminder of their commitment to serve God and His Church. Witnessing this tradition firsthand offered our students a deeper understanding of the sacramental life of the Church and the unity of our Catholic community. Our girls were even able to take a photo with Archbishop Checcio, making the day even more memorable. What a blessing for our students to be part of such a meaningful celebration of faith. Moments like these remind us of the beauty of serving at the altar and living out our call as daughters of the Church.

Our Career Engagement Speaker Series brings Chapelle alumnae back to campus to share their professional experiences and career journeys with current students.

It’s an inspiring opportunity for Chipmunks to learn firsthand about different fields, ask questions, and gain insight into future career paths — all while connecting with alumnae who once walked the same halls. We love welcoming our graduates home to guide and encourage the next generation of Chapelle women!

Erin Black Comeaux ’99 Inspires Future Builders We were proud to welcome alumna Erin Black Comeaux ’99, Sector Leader – Commercial Construction at RNGD, LLC, as part of our Career Engagement Speaker Series. In her role, Erin is responsible for sourcing and leading commercial construction projects that are not multi-family (apartments) or hospitality (hotels). Her work helps bring to life the schools, retail spaces, offices, and public facilities that serve communities every day. Exploring Careers in Construction Erin introduced students to RNGD, a multifaceted company operating across the Southeast in four sectors: - Building - Steel - Infrastructure - Manufacturing From schools and data centers to retail and civic spaces, RNGD’s projects demonstrate how construction shapes skylines and strengthens communities. She emphasized that construction is more than what people see on a jobsite. The industry offers endless career paths — including project management, engineering, estimating, technology, finance, marketing, safety, and skilled trades. Whether a student enjoys hands-on work, leadership, problem-solving, or working with digital tools, there is a place for them in this field. Building the Future Erin also highlighted RNGD’s commitment to community impact through education, workforce development, and scholarships, reinforcing that construction is about building people and opportunities — not just structures. Her visit helped students see the wide range of possibilities available after graduation. We are grateful to Erin for sharing her journey and inspiring the next generation to consider careers that quite literally build the future.

Challenge 2026: Banner Year for the Chips You could feel it the moment you walked in — the energy, the anticipation, the friendly rivalry. This year’s Rummel/Chapelle Challenge brought the spirit in full force as the Raiders embraced their theme, “Home for the Holidays,” while the Chips lit up the night with “Miss American Pie.” Before the games even began, Chapelle came out strong. Thanks to our incredible generosity during the Belize Mission Drive, we raised more funds than Rummel and started the night with a 5–0 lead. Chipmunks with heart always set the tone. The competition that followed was a true back-and-forth battle: Student Volleyball – Rummel won (5–5 tie) Teacher Volleyball – Chapelle won (bragging rights secured) Hippity Hop – Chips win (10–5!) Cup Stack – Rummel ties it up Uniform Swap – Chips win… then win again after a redo! (15–10) Ping Pong – Rummel ties it again Memory Matching – Rummel takes the lead for the first time (15–20) Shoe Find – Chapelle wins to tie it up! With the score even and the gym on its feet, it all came down to the E-Boards in a tie-breaker Ping Pong showdown. The pressure was high. The crowd was loud. And when the final e-board member crossed the line — CHIPS WIN! The screams, the spirit, the sisterhood — it was everything Challenge is meant to be. From start to finish, our girls showed resilience, teamwork, and undeniable Chipmunk Spunk. And at the end of the night, the only thing sweeter than “American Pie” was the actual pie that went into Rummel's E-Boards faces... oh, and bringing the banner home.

Hey girl, want to stay in touch?
