Archdiocese of New Orleans:

Champions of Catholic Education Scholarship

What is Champions of Catholic Education:  This is tuition assistance for the 2024-2025 school year.

Champions of Catholic Education is not a scholarship.


Who Qualifies: Students enrolled in ANY Catholic School within the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

  • While we strive to assist as many families as possible an application does not guarantee tuition assistance
  • If a student received Champions last year, they still have to reapply, but that does not guarantee that they will receive it again
  • 2023 tax return are required to consider the application complete

Aspiring

Scholars

Aspiring Scholars offers qualifying low to moderate income families’ scholarship assistance to help students attend Catholic school through the State of Louisiana Tuition Donation Credit Program.

Students should meet each of the following requirements:
1) Have a family household income that does not exceed 250% of the federal poverty guidelines, as established by the Federal Office of Management and Budget.
2) Be a resident of Louisiana.
3) Have attended a public school in Louisiana on October 1 and February 1 of the most recent school year; or Be entering Kindergarten for the first time; or Have participated in the Louisiana Scholarship Program/Tuition Donation Program for the previous school year.

ACE

Scholarship

ACE Scholarships works with low-income families from a variety of different circumstances across numerous states. ACE offers partial tuition scholarships to K-12 students from low-income families so they may attend the private school of their choice. To qualify for an ACE scholarship, a family must meet the income requirements for the federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Our families have a medium income of $32,000 a year.

ARETE

Scholarship

Students must be transferring from local public to private schools AND must meet the income guidelines for the federal free and reduced lunch program. Check state-specific guidelines for details.


Louisiana students must have a family income that does not exceed the limits listed on the ARETE page  AND must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Attended a public school in Louisiana on October 1 & February 1 of the 2023-24 school year
  2. Entering kindergarten in 2024-25
  3. Received a TDC or Louisiana Scholarship Program award in 2023-24
